Vintage with a touch of VaVa Voom ....
Pomme de Jour is an eclectic mix of the inspired, original and quirky. Based in the south of France, Pomme de Jour was launched in 2008 by Tanya Jerrard and has slowly grown from a little shop stocking fabric to everything from vintage French fabrics, wallpapers, ephemera and kitchenalia.
Fans of Pomme de Jour will be familiar with the floral and Scandinavian original fabrics, the vast range of 1970s wallpapers sold by the metre or roll, the quirky accessories and a colourful range of French kitchenalia and objects.
Pomme de Jour is run entirely by Tanya from her home in Perpignan. She juggles her time between running the shop, her family (she has 4 daughters) and coping with the day to day life in France. Her ethos is to provide vintage that is not only unique but beautiful and affordable as well as to give a new lease of life to unwanted objects. Everything is lovingly and locally sourced from vide greniers and flea markets near her home in the south of France.
When not busy working on her shop, Tanya can be found, crafting, swimming, eating scones and drinking tea.
